Welcome to the web site Blue Line International, the international maritime company, specialized in transport of passengers and vehicles between Croatia and Italy.
Our crew and staff here at the Blue Line will try to meet your expectations during the journey, through the first-rate service, top-quality gastronomic and various other offers at the restaurant, self-service restaurant, bars, duty free shops and cabins.
The vision of the Blue Line materialized as early as 1993, during the hardship of war taking place on the Croatian territory, when a passenger ship «Kraljica mira» dared to sail towards Italy transporting humanitarian aid and refugees.
«Kraljica mira» was sailing at that time under the flag of SEM Maritime Company (SMC), and in 1997 the passenger ship «Split 1700» joined the same company.
SMC existed on the Croatian – Italian market up to 2003, when the maritime company Blue Line Int. succeeded its maritime tradition, setting new standards in the naval transportation.
The passenger ship «Ancona», the largest ship in the Adriatic Sea was bought in 2003 and has been sailing together with the passenger ship «Split 1700» for over several years on a regular “blue line” Split-Ancona-Split, maintaining also the seasonal lines Ancona-Hvar- Ancona and Ancona-Vis- Ancona.
Today, these ships were replaced with new ones, more comfortable ferries with much larger capacity and the number of services – “Regina della Pace” and “Dalmatia”.
Expansion of the fleet has created a foundation for the introduction of new pricing tarrifs, and in spring of 2010 Blue Line Int. becomes the first LOW COST maritime company in the Mediterranean.
Blue Line is formed LOW COST passenger tickets on the model of the world’s airlines and managed in competition on the international market of ferry transportation between Croatia and Italy. We also tried to respect the desire of many travelers who can travel and have accommodation in the cabin for only 35€ between Split (Hvar) – Ancona.
